prayer request

Hello all, its been a while since I have posted. Everything seems to be really looking up for me ever since I found this wonderful community. Tonight though, it was a setback of some sorts. My mom called and told me that a family friend of one of my cousin's was killed in a motorcycle crash. From what I got of the story without going into too many details, there was a local charity motorcycle ride today for a recovering burn victim, he completed it and was on his way home with his girlfriend when a deer ran out in front of him and he hit it. They say he passed away from head trauma. I guess his gf is injured as well but not sure of her condition. Anyways, I knew this fellow, not well, but I have talked to him before and when I was younger he always picked on me! It's kind of got me sad for some reason or another. I really feel a loss in my life even though I didn't know the guy that well. Please pray for his family and friends.

May God bless you for your sincere heart and fill you with joy, for without sorrow there is no joy. Let us pray also for this soul, that was taken suddenly but praise God for whatever happens, he does in his infinite love and mercy to teach and prepare us for his ownself and to form us into the image of Jesus Christ his beloved son. Let us pray also for the protection of bikers everywhere.

Lord, I pray for grampasboy right now, that you would comfort him and give him forgiveness for this man he spoke about who has died. I pray for comfort for the motorcycle man's family and friends, and I pray that he knew You and is with You right now. Lord, please give grampasboy the words to say, if he needs to talk to that man's family, and I pray that you would just be with him right now, in Jesus' name. Amen.
