Hard upcoming news – please pray

I am involved with union negotiations at the company I work for. We just received word that tomorrow, Wednesday, June 2nd, the corporation that this company belongs to will have yet another round of lay-offs. 29 people will be let go, across the board. (We've been told the number, but no names have been announced.) Some of the lay-offs could of course hit our plant. The town where we are is a very expensive place to live, and the rich upper-percent don't really notice us grunts who, by the way, provide all the services they demand. This company has had lay-offs twice already in the past 8 months. I pray that God will step in and control this situation, and that whatever happens tomorrow, the Lord will set me on the path He has ordained, and that it need not be another head-first dive into poverty. (I have been homeless once... I do not recommend it.) I pray this humbly, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Jesus, since the rise of the oil price throughout the world, people have been affected. There are of course those who benefit from the oil crisis but there are also people who are greatly affected by it. Lord Jesus, I would like to pray for each and everyone who is working out there to make a living including cornerdesk that he be strengthen in this time of hardship. We know that you will always provide for us. If biological parents who sin now and then knows how to give the best to their children and feel down when their children is unhappy or trouble, what more will GOD our father in heaven feel when we are in misery and difficulty.

Father, sometimes, it hard to trust when things aren't getting our way but help to renew our faith in you (According to your faith, will it be done to you -Matthew 9:29) so that we learn how to trust and put our life in your hand. Lord, may you at the same time listen to our cry and show to us a bit of assurance so that we can get on with more faith in us. This, we come humbly in your name to pray, Amen.
