Please post to this thread for prayers for victims of the recent terrorist attacks in the United States.

We need to, as a group and people, take time away from our own trivial troubles and focus on praying for ourselves ACROSS THE WORLD as a whole.

Please pray for the vicims of the tragedy, their families, as well as praying for a resolution to it all that is as peaceful as possible.

dear god, please be with the leaders of this country that they will find those responsible for this horrific act of terrorism. but we ask, lord, that they would do this in a way that is not retaliatory but just. we don't need to go and bomb other countries, or especially, lose more civilian lives. lord, please keep this from having a ripple effect, where the need for vengeance just goes on and on. please let the justice that is sought be YOUR justice, lord; help them act as you would.

father god, we especially ask a blessing on the victims and families left behind. please shower your love and care on them without ceasing. please surround them with others who can love and support them, and help them all draw closer to you. bring healing, lord. bring peace, please. help us all to recover and to reach out to others, lord. forgive us for our anger and hunger for revenge; keep reminding us that that is not the way, and help us to remember that in spite of all this horror, that you are, and will be, in control.
