Dear God, I add this prayer to the countless ones that are being said for the victims of the plane crashes, their families, their friends. Lord, I ask again that You bless our leaders here and abroad with wisdom and courage to do the right things. Terrorism must be stopped, whereever it is, and I plead for your help in doing this. Lord, let no more lives be lost. Keep us all safe, Lord, and be especially present with the rescue workers in NY and DC. Help us help each other get through this, Lord, and help us exemplify the fruit of your spirit.

Father God, it is written that the spirit intercedes when we can't even speak; it is written that our very groans are understood. Please hear them now, Lord. Strengthen our faith, help us remember what is really important, and help us to be gentle with each other. Hear our attempts at prayer, God, and please help us through these dark hours. Be with the suffering. Lead our leaders, open their hearts and minds to Your will.

Dear God please give us courage wisdom and strength to fight the forces of Satan on earth. Comfort all the families with you unconditional love and help to heal their grieving souls. Please watch over them as they grieve for their lost loved ones. We pray to you oh father to give our leaders the wisdom to know what to do and the resolve to protect and comfort us. May you show us the path to rightiousness and deliver us from evil
