Prayers for Military Personnel

We have received some e-mails lately concerning issues of murder, commandments and the present military situations with the United States and Middle East countries.

This subject is a pandora's box with many viewpoints. We would just ask that you pray for our military, that when the conflict subsides they are at peace and do not suffer any post war emotional traumas.

If you have additional things to pray for concerning military and present situations, please post them here!

You're right Cyber,

Having been downtown in Saudi while in the Air Force, I witnessed some things that are quite different than our world. Other cultures don't have any of the acceptance that we enjoy here in America of other ways of life. I won't go into the details of some of the things I saw, but our forces are in a very bad place, just being anywhere close to there physically.

You NEVER heard on the news all the times that we had those who hate us, trying to run thru the gates and fences over and over, only to be killed by our Security Police. The whole outcome was to record our reaction time and find the weaknesses!! Since the bombing in Khobar Towers, we were sleeping only in tents....made for some light sleeping those nights wondering if you were going to be run over by a semi in the middle of the night...

Let us all remember the extreme sacrifice our troops are engaging in just to be over there. They don't have to be running into burning buildings to be heros too.

As Deut 20:4 says, "For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory."

May God watch over all...
